JEKTA reveals its 1:9 scale PHA-ZE 100 model, now in flight and water trials to refine the zero-emission amphibious aircraft ahead of its planned 2030 production, supported by USD 1.35B in customer commitments.

JEKTA has unveiled new images of its 1:9 scale model of the PHA-ZE 100, the zero-emission amphibious flying boat now undergoing flight and water trials in Italy. The model replicates key features of the full-scale aircraft—including its eight-motor distributed electric propulsion system, advanced aerodynamics and expansive cockpit and cabin windows—allowing engineers to collect real-world test data and refine the design ahead of certification. Led by Head of Design Max Pinucci, the testing program draws inspiration from Italy’s rich seaplane heritage while validating and expanding JEKTA’s digital modelling. With more than USD 1.35 billion in customer commitments and production planned for 2030/2031, the PHA-ZE 100 continues to advance as a versatile, sustainable solution for regional and amphibious mobility.
