At the Farnborough International Airshow, JEKTA Switzerland announced a major agreement with Seaplane Asia, which will add 14 zero-emission PHA-ZE 100 amphibious aircraft to its future fleet. The Southeast Asian operator plans to deploy the hydrogen- and electric-powered flying boats for short-distance routes, island hopping, waterfront transfers and tourism experiences across Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia. Thanks to low operating costs, sustainable propulsion and strong performance in varied sea conditions, the PHA-ZE 100 is seen as a strategic solution for expanding accessible, eco-friendly mobility in the region. Both companies highlight the partnership as a decisive step toward cleaner aviation, with first deliveries expected in 2030.
