Gayo Aviation signs an LOI for ten Jekta PHA-ZE 100 electric amphibious aircraft to support sustainable tourism and regional mobility, leveraging low costs, flexible cabins and zero-emission operations

Jekta has signed a Letter of Intent with Gayo Aviation for ten PHA-ZE 100 electric amphibious aircraft, marking the first official customer commitment for the zero-emission flying boat. Delivered in a 19-passenger configuration with full operational support—including charging systems, tools, training and a three-year warranty—the aircraft will be used for sustainable tourism, experiential travel and regional services in underserved communities. Gayo Aviation aims to lead the shift toward environmentally responsible mobility, noting that the PHA-ZE 100 may reduce per-passenger operating costs by more than 70% compared to current seaplanes. Designed for coastal routes, island networks and adventure travel, the aircraft offers flexible cabin layouts, low operating costs and minimal infrastructure requirements, positioning it as a next-generation platform for clean, affordable air transport
